Who we are
MapleKey Media (including MapleKey Web) is a content, social media and web team based in Waterloo Region, Ontario. Questions about this policy can be sent to maplekeymedia@gmail.com.
Information we collect
When you use our inquiry form, we collect your name, email address, and the details you choose to share: company, website or social link, the service you're interested in, and your project description. We also record the page you sent the form from and the time it was sent. If you email or call us directly, we keep that correspondence.
To protect the form from spam and abuse, we use a short-lived, anonymized signal to limit repeat submissions. We do not store your IP address with your inquiry.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to your inquiry, understand whether we're a good fit, prepare a quote, and arrange next steps. We don't sell your information, and we don't add you to a marketing list from an inquiry.
Who processes it
Like most websites, we rely on service providers to run ours: website hosting, a secure database that stores inquiries, and email services we use to reply. These providers handle information only to deliver their service to us. Some may store data outside Canada.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. Pages that show Instagram reels load content from Instagram, which may set its own cookies under Instagram's privacy policy. If we add analytics in the future, we'll update this page.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for up to 24 months so we can follow up and refer back to past conversations, then delete them. If you become a client, project records are kept as long as needed for the work and our business records. You can ask us to delete your inquiry sooner at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing maplekeymedia@gmail.com. We'll respond as soon as we reasonably can.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
